Even if there's nothing new

I'm going to post every year, even if there's nothing new. So there. But there is newness. In my life anyway. Bicycle riding has taken over. I even blog about it. Right here. I still do tennis every day, and here's a movie about that. I've got a bunch of photos on Flickr. Here's some of Italy.
I still work at Los Medanos College and advise the newspaper there and teach in the Art Department (another blog!)

I showed a video in my photo class today about W. Eugene Smith and my students started asking me about my life in journalism. I'm sure I'll have nightmares tonight.

Trying to get the word out

I have sent out e-mails to a few people about this site, but sadly, some are ignoring me and don't seem to want to take part. You can lead people to a site but you can't make'em blog. I'll keep trying, and I there are still some folk that I haven't reached out to yet, but will. Meanwhile, if you can think of some people who might enjoy the site, please help spread the word.
